Everyone is invited to join us for this special night of Thanksgiving Festivities! We will meet at Mason’s Barn, 140 Colonial Way at 5:30 PM.
We will have a meal, have a brief time of worship and reflection on all that we are thankful for, and have the Lottie Moon Fun Auction.
Our Menu will be as follows: Turkey & Dressing, Cranberry Sauce, Ham, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Mac & Cheese, Rolls, Dessert, & Drink
The cost will be as follows:
- 12 yrs & up: $10 each
- 4 -11 yrs: $5 each
- 3 yrs & under: Free
We have been doing this Fun Auction for many years as a way of kicking off our collection of donations to meet our Lottie Moon Christmas Offering goal. This year our goal is $2,500.
- Bring a wrapped gift to the Thanksgiving Meal to be auctioned off.
- The gift can be new, homemade, or something funny you want to get rid of (decent and tasteful; gently used).
- If the gift is lady specific or man specific, note that on the outside of the package.
- If the gift is a child’s gift, note boy, girl, or baby on the outside of the package.
- All adult gifts will start out with a $5 bid, and children’s gifts being bid on by a child will start at $1 with a maximum bid of $20 per gift (we want it to be fun for the children but not cost the parents a fortune).
The more gifts you bring, the more fun we have! Please consider bringing a gift to be auctioned off, set yourself an amount that you want to spend bidding on gifts, and let’s have a great time while raising money for International Missions.
